Born in Price, Utah, September 13, 1962. Raised in Duchesne County, Utah. Spent 18 months in Argentina from the fall of 1981 to spring of 1983 and became fluent in Spanish. Completed a number of Spanish language classes as an undergraduate. While in law school, clerked with Ivie & Young, Provo, Utah. From 1988 to the present practiced exclusively civil litigation, focusing on personal injury and insurance defense. Resides in St. George, Utah and has two children. Outside interests include four-wheeling, "building" Jeeps, camping, reading and skiing.
